On the morning of 5 December, Phuoc Thanh accompanied the academic competition “BIM – CIM in Smart Urban Development”, organised by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education.
In the context that the Government of Vietnam has issued mandatory regulations on the application of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in construction activities under the implementation roadmap stipulated in Decision No. 258/Q?-TTg (2023) and Decree No. 175/2024/N?-CP (2024), the adoption of BIM has become an inevitable trend. This approach plays a vital role in accelerating the digital transformation of the construction industry, enhancing construction quality, and improving project management efficiency.

The competition was organised with the aim of creating a rigorous, creative, and practice-oriented academic platform for students from disciplines under the Faculty of Civil Engineering as well as universities across the region. Through this competition, students are provided with opportunities to:
